See what the internet sees.
See what information your connection and browser expose, then understand your privacy signals in one clear dashboard.

Real checks, cautious conclusions, and clear next steps.
Improve your privacy
Your scan can help identify which privacy protections may be useful.
Privacy tools
Run focused checks when you want to inspect one part of your connection in more detail.
Useful checks, without pretending the browser can reveal information a VPN has actually hidden.
Inspect an IP's approximate location and network information.
🖥️ Browser CheckReview privacy-relevant information your browser shares.
Measure browser download speed, latency and jitter with a lightweight connection test.
What does this scan mean?
Your public IP can reveal an approximate area and network provider. It normally cannot reveal your exact home address. If you use a properly configured VPN, websites generally see the VPN server's public IP instead of your original public IP.
Connection quality & speed
Measure real-world connection quality against Cloudflare’s edge network, or run a separate maximum-throughput test designed to push fast connections harder. Results can vary with Wi-Fi, device load, VPN routing and network congestion.
Measures download, upload, latency, jitter and responsiveness using Cloudflare’s global edge network. Results are estimates and may differ from your ISP or other speed-test services.
How fast can this connection go?
This separate test uses multiple parallel browser downloads to push high-speed connections harder and estimate peak download capacity. It remains a browser-based measurement, so results can vary between devices, networks and test providers.
Connection Quality measures everyday responsiveness and network performance, including download, upload and latency under load. Maximum Throughput pushes multiple connections simultaneously to estimate peak download capacity. Different speed-test services can report different results because they use different servers, routes and testing methods.
Privacy checks without false promises
NetPrivacyScan reports what your browser and public connection reveal at the time of the test. Results are signals, not a guarantee of anonymity or security.
Public IP
Your public IP can reveal an approximate region and network provider. It does not reveal your exact street address.
VPN signals
VPN and proxy detection is probabilistic. Hosting, relay and network data can provide clues, but no detector is perfect.
DNS & WebRTC
These checks look for resolver and browser-network behavior that may expose more than you expect. A mismatch alone is not proof of a leak.
Your scan should explain itself.
We separate measured results from estimates, ask before requesting precise location, and avoid claiming that a browser test can reveal information a properly configured VPN has actually hidden.
